How time flies! This time last week, I was at Somerset House, running around in not-warm-enough clothes and inconveniently high heels.
One week later, I've now jussssst about recovered (thanks to onesies and hot cups of Bovril) and I realised I have about a MILLION photos to share with you. Millions.
Clearly ain't nobody got time for that, so here's a little summary for you. My outfits, my top designers and some key LFW beauty products. Oh and there's loooadsa pics too if you're not up for reading my ramble... ENJOY!
Let's start with the outfits!
You'll see all of this AND MORE in my LFW AW15 Day 1 blog, so I'll not digress.
Day 2 - It was a fabulous printed Begley jacket by AQ/AQ, teamed with a white silk shirt and glossy leggings from Zara. To keep things cosy, I added a faux fur shrug and lace up heels from F&F clothing.
Now Day 3 - my personal favourite. It's a jersey pink suit by BooHoo and a snakeskin rucksack by TopShop.
I almost didn't wear it because Boohoo originally sent me only the top half! (cue a raging tweet to their customer service) Thankfully they managed to send out a replacement -thank the lord for Next Day Delivery!
My Favourite Designers
Right, enough pictures of me - what were the standout pieces for me?!
One of the best shows I went to was the Mimi Tran show - mainly because there was SO much wearable stuff.
Most of the AW15 shows I saw featured a lot of leather, cut outs and texture. The Mimi Tran collection encaspulated all of that, with brilliant leather and lace details, clever sheer panelling plus this fantastic matching set.
Oh yeah, and a wedding dress. Don't tell Mr FV.
Now for the accessories...
Most GENIUS accessories go to Cleo B. who has created these beautiful premium shoe clips which transform any pair of shoes from plain to PARTAY.
With a mix of hardware and cute, if you're short on space (and cash), it's like having two pairs of different shoes!
Plus, I am a sucker for a pompom!!
These Julian Hakes shoes are so bizarre yet strangely alluring - how unique!!
When it comes to jewellery, I am such a HUGE fan of anything delicate and dainty. Tiny detailing, little gems and twisted metals, this collection by Phoebe Coleman is truly lust-worthy.
Simple, yet so effective - I love everything in the collection.
One of the perks of the press pass is a complimentary makeover by Maybelline. I booked myself in on Saturday and Stacey Lincoln, the makeup artist, created some pastel eyes and an ombre lip - nice!
Love a good makeover, it's always nice to try something new.
And of course - some lovely goodie bag beauties to take home with me! More to come on these individually ... (but, spoiler alert, I've already tried that Schwarzkopf All-Star and it is GREAT - all smooth, yet big, yet not fluffy WAH.)
Phew - now, for normal life to resume...!!
So there we go, a brief summary of the best bits. And now for this super awesome video to do the rest of the talking, watch it now for interviews and streetstyle at Somerset House.
Oh - and me interviewing a Spaceman.
Over and out until next season..
