BRAND FOCUS: Bee-autiful skin with Bee Good Organic Skincare

I don't normally win competitions, but at the #bloggersfestival last month, I lucked out and managed to win the entire Bee Good skincare range! WAHOO!

No idea what's going to happen now - most likely will end up standing in a deep puddle wearing the world's flimsiest ballet pumps, whilst simultaneously getting splashed by a passing bus. Standard Autumn bad luck drama.

Anyway. I digress. Bee Good is a British premium skincare brand, run by husband and wife duo Simon & Caroline (how cute!!)  Given Simon's bee-keeping background, Caroline started using the excess beeswax to make products and now, the brand is stocked in Waitrose as the only British brand to exclusively use British beeswax and honey in it's products.

I'm loving this whole made-in-britain vibe PLUS the fact that the dude is a real beekeeper AND it's a family business. How awesome! I wish my parents did something like this.

Simon & Caroline were so lovely to meet at #bloggersfestival and I'm really relieved to find out that I actually LOVE their products because I did want to be able to say some nice things about Bee Good other than talking about it's lovely founders..

Left to right - let's get to know these bee-rilliant beautifiers.

There's a Lip Balm, an intensive hand cream, a normal hand cream, moisturiser, cleansing water and a lovely cream cleanser  - all made with British natural ingredients and ZERO synthetic colours or nasty parabens!

Let's Bee-gin.

No more puns, I promise. I can't eeeeven try and build up some suspense, I just want to rave about it now! My favourite products had to be the Honey & Wild Flax Daily Moisturiser and the Honey & Wild Water Mint Cleansing Water

I was worried that the Daily Moisturiser would be heavy or sticky - it has honey in it after all, I was getting images of a very intense cream for dry skin or something! To my surprise it was delightfully light, very easily absorbed and an absolute dream on my combination oily skin! I would and will, buy this once it's finished.

As a huge fan of micellar water (aka lazy girl's way to cleanse) - I instantly loved this Honey & Wild Water Mint cleansing water. It smells dreeeamy fresh and is really powerful - I imagined a natural product like this might need a bit more elbow grease but makeup was removed just as easy as high-street cleansing water!

If you've read my stuff before, you may know I have a serial problem with dry lips. Yes, yes I don't drink enough water and I drink too much - GUILTY. I liked the Bee Good Vanilla & Honey Lip Balm but it was nothing special for me - it was fine to keep lips soft, but it didn't do anything to repair my crispy lips.

I DID really like the Honey, Borage & Echium Intensive Hand Repair though - it really does the job without being heavy. It worked just as well as that Neutrogena Concentrated stuff, but where Neutrogena feels and looks like melted plastic, the Bee Good Hand Repair felt much more like a cream! It even worked a treat on my feet!

The Honey & Crambe (whatever that is) hand cream was also nice - nothing out of this world but above average and really lovely to use. I also love the fact that it's all natural and with no chemical preservatives and it absorbs very quickly! I'm not normally a hand cream person but this is really growing on me! (ps Crambe is actually a flowering plant from the cabbage family. Learn something new everyday eh?)

The Oscar winner of this collection is going to be the Honey & Propolis 2-in-1 Cream Cleanser. People have been raving about this product for a while and I couldn't wait to try it. It smells incredible, it feels great and it does a great job - I'm going to be doing a cream cleanser comparison next week, pitting this against the legendary heavyweight which is the Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish. Trust me, this Bee Good cleanser is definitely going to put up a tough fight!!

So there we go - a little look at the Bee Good premium skincare range! With prices around £10 for a cleanser, it's slightly pricier than your high-street brand but I think it's worth it.

Why? You're getting high quality, naturally sourced ingredients and I want to treat my skin to the best. I've spent so long trying to clear my skin up, I'm avoiding paraben-filled chemical cleansers where I can!

You can find out more at http://beegood.co.uk/ - thanks again to Bee Good for sending me the whole range!!!

Have you tried Bee Good skincare before? Which of these do you want to try the most?

Can you even imagine what it's like being a Bee Keeper?! Part of me is fascinated, the other part is terrified.

Brownie points if you can get a good Bee pun in your comments!
